MANILA, Philippines – Arriva Medical and Sitel will be squaring off in the championship round of BPO Classics’ recreational plus division as both teams came out on top of the respective matches in the semi-final phase.
Arriva Medical scored an upset by defeating No.2-seat occupant IMS Health with a 47-45 conquest in a low-scoring game on Saturday, July 2 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Ed Leonardo Salvador manned the offense for Arriva Medical as he amassed 11 points to go along with two rebounds.
Joseph Allen Paul Carlos and Raymon Papa added more firepower for Arriva Medical by finishing with 7 points each.
Meanwhile, top seed Sitel made it a one-sided bout against Cloud Sherpas as the squadron furnished a 78-63 victory on Sunday, July 3.
Eugene Velo led Sitel with his double-double performance of 16 points and 13 rebounds and received a helping hand from Christian Angelo Aquino’s 20-point production.
