MANILA, Philippines – Microsourcing had to endure and battle tooth-and-nail with PSG Global Solutions to capture the 2016 BPO Classics recreational division crown.
Microsourcing had a tough task to get the job done as the squad eked out a 52-47 conquest of PSG Global Solutions on Sunday, July 17 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Even though it was a low-scoring affair, Microsourcing made sure to maintain its lead as back-up gunslinger Enwel Luna manned the offense by firing away with 14 markers to come with two boards, two dimes and 3 steals.
Luna received a helping hand from fellow second stringer Daniel Martin Cataros, who had a double-double production of 11 points and 14 rebounds to go along with one assist and one block.
On the other hand, court general JC Salvo attempted to snatch the championship moment away from Microsourcing as he amassed 18 points, 8 rebounds and two assists for PSG Global Solutions.
Points in the paint were a big factor for Microsourcing as the troop delivered 30 points from the aforementioned department, while the winning squad converted 14 from their fastbreak attacks to the attacks.
