SBO 1 shackles V Power; CS2, Solane top foes

MANILA, Philippines – SBO 1 continues its winning rampage in the ongoing elimination round of the 2016 PSPC Basketball League by thumping VPower, 73-53, on Thursday, December 1 at Asia Pacific College in Makati City.

Despite coming off the bench, second stringer Alex Eusebio led SBO 1 with a double-double performance, amassing 15 points, 12 rebounds, one assist, three steals and three blocks.

Reliable court general Federico Amagna also gave Eusebio a hand on the offensive end by firing 12 points to go along with two rebounds and seven assists in over 20 minutes of play.

Although VPower bowed down to SBO 1, the team received outstanding digits from Ambrose Demaisip and Jolo Valdez, who tallied with 16 and 14 markers respectively.

In the other fixture on the same day, CS2 tamed Global Commercial under the scoring tutelage of Angelo Ferrer, who drilled 19 points to steer CS2 to an impressive 71-59 victory against Global Commercial.

Meanwhile, Solane blazed to a 79-76 conquest of Aviation as Johnny Walker’s star shined the brightest with his 23-point output.
