Major Homes Rolls to Third-Straight Win; ET Homes, Aling Lucy’s Bag Wins

MANILA, Philippines – Major Homes Properties continues its impressive streak in the 2016 Next5Hoops South tourney as the team notched its third-consecutive victory at the expense of JAPAS Air Conditioning Services Kingsmen, 97-82, on Sunday, March 27 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.

Four men in Major Homes uniform were in double figure, with Art Andres’ all-around effort leading the brigade as he hauled 16 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, two steals and one block.

Joey Sandrino also shined with 15 markers, while Mark Tarrobal was one bucket shy of Sandrino’s output by contributing 14 markers for Major Homes.

Meanwhile, RL Barrientos and Ryan Riparip finished with 13 and 10 points respectively as Major Homes improved to a win-loss card to 3-2.

Despite losing to Major Homes Properties, Jeb Carl Po pulled off a monstrous performance for JAPAS Airconditiong Services Kingsmen as he produced a game-high of 35 points to come along with 5 rebounds, two assists and one steal.

With the disappoint defeat to Major Homes, Kingsmen downgraded its season record to 1-4 and have not won a ball game since routing South Forbes Villa last March 16.

E.T. Homes bounced back from its setback to Major Homes last week by trumping Street Chef with a 68-58 conquest.

Derick Tobias starred E.T. Homes’ triumph over Street Chef by tallying 16 markers as his squad upgraded its slate to 3-2.

In the first fixture of the day, Aling Lucy’s narrowly picked up a 80-76 win over Phase One – GEC as Franklin Mancio and Reynaldo Cudia served as the troop’s smooth operators by dishing out 21 markers each.
