E.T. Homes Wins Big Over Dasma Gym; Aling Lucy’s Bounces Back

MANILA, Philippines – After suffering a painful loss at the hands of GEC last week, E.T. Homes attained a statement victory at the expense of Dasma Gym, 95-79, on Sunday, April 10 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.

Derick Tobias’ star shined the brightest in E.T. Homes’ conquest of Dasma Gym as he drilled in 24 points and was able to convert 4 of his 9 attempts from downtown.

Roger Domingo played the role of Tobias’ back-up contributor as he finished with an all-around outing of 21 markers, two boards, 4 dimes and one steal.

With the impressive win over Dasma Gym, ET Homes upgraded its win-loss slate to 5-3 and concluded the single-round eliminations on top of the team standings.

However, Aling Lucy’s Panciteria caught up with E.T. Homes in the race to top seed by bouncing back from its disappointing defeat to Kingsmen on Saturday, April 9.

Aling Lucy’s crushed the hopes of Street Chef to end its season with a win as the determined brigade routed their counterparts, 87-67.

Franklin Mancio showcased a monstrous performance by hauling 19 points and 11 rebounds to improve his squad’s record to 5-3 as well.

The top 4 troops in the 2016 Next5Hoops South tourney will advance to the semi-final round, and quotient system will apply to break the ties in the team standing.
