Major Homes Edges E.T. Homes For Next5Hoops South Finals Spot

MANILA, Philippines – Major Homes Properties had to go through an eye of a needle to book a ticket to the 2016 Next5Hoops South finals as team was forced to engage in a nail-biting game against E.T. Homes on Sunday, April 24 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.

Despite occupying the No.2-seat in the playoffs, the No.3-ranked E.T. Homes proved to be a serious threat as Major Homes had to answer fire with fire to take home an 88-86 conquest.

Mark Tarrobal flirted with a double-double performance, hauling 27 markers, 9 boards, 3 dimes, one steal and one block.

Tarrobal received a substantial assistance from Dan Natividad, who amassed 25 points and converted 5 of his 12 beyond-the-arc attempts.

Meanwhile, E.T. Homes heavily relied on the troika of Jeson Delfinado, Roger Domingo, Earl Murphy, who played a pivotal role in putting their own squad within striking distance versus Major Homes.

Delfinado finished with 21 points, Domingo had 19, and Murphy added 11 markers in E.T. Homes’ losing effort against Major Homes.

Two men in ET Homes uniform were almost in scoring double digits as Jesus Manay and Joshua Palacio made 9 points apiece.

Major Homes will square off with the winner of the semi-final showdown between Phase One-GEC and Aling Lucy’s Panciteria in the championship round.
