MANILA, Philippines – Accenture established themselves as a strong candidate to capture the 2016 BPO Classics season’s intermediate division championship by annihilating Infinit-O with an 80-37 shutout triumph on Saturday, May 14 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
It was a collective effort from Accenture’s 13-man roster, but Christian Rodriguez’s star shined the brightest as he finished with 12 markers, 3 boards, two dimes, 4 steals and one block.
Accenture’s supporting cast also contributed to the team’s victory as James Rafael Laxinto and Jilbert Zamora made 10 and 11 points respectively.
On the other hand, Infinit-O solely relied on Ray Victor Garcia, who hauled 13 points and 6 rebounds in his squad’s lackluster outing against Accenture.
Turnovers plagued Infinit-O as the brigade committed 39 errors, prompting Accenture to easily convert 31 points from their mistakes.
Accenture also dominated the rebounding department as their players picked up 53 as opposed to Infinit-O’s 38.
