MANILA, Philippines – Composure was Sitel’s key ingredient in handling its business with Ring Central as the troop claimed a 62-55 victory on Saturday, May 14 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
Reliable court general Isiah Gomez spearheaded Sitel’s campaign to topple Ring Central and put his squadron in a comfortable position in the recreational division’s standing as he fired 21 points to go along with 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals.
Allen Zaldy Gomez bombarded their counterpart’s frontline unit by adding 17 markers, 3 boards, one dime and 5 steals.
Another Sitel cager who was in double figures was Jayvee Castillo, who had 10 points, 8 rebounds, one steal and two blocks.
Despite bowing down to Sitel, Mark Alayon and Ulysses Gonzales gave Ring Central a fighting chance to snatch the win against their opponent.
Alayon flirted with a double-double performance as he amassed 18 points, 9 rebounds and one block, but Gonzales was able to achieve the feat by hauling 12 markers, 11 boards and one block.
