MANILA, Philippines – As the recreational division of the 2016 BPO Classics season gets more intense and competitive, Sitel (Bracket A) is keeping its eye on the prize as the red-and-black troop overwhelmingly routed HCCA Health Connection, 75-54, on Saturday, May 21 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
Despite coming off the bench for Sitel A, Mark Odeomene pushed boundaries to lead his team with 20 points, 3 rebounds, two assists and one steal.
Odeomene’s fellow second stringer Jason Silverio likewise stepped up for Sitel as he hauled 11 markers to go along with 4 boards.
On the other hand, Albert Rizalino Modina was the only player in HCCA uniform who scored in double figures as he made 12 points to come with 3 assists and one steal.
Meanwhile, Joash Guinto’s 21-point output steered Shell Business Operations to a 70-63 victory over Eastvantage, which heavily relied on back-up skipper Richard Salarda’s 13-point production.
On the other hand, Personiv maintained its strong momentum in the fourth and final frame to walk away with a 72-62 win against Ubiquity Global Services.
Paolo Cheung tallied with 12 markers to star in Personiv’s conquest of Ubiquity, while the latter had good numbers from Victor Sagun’s 20 points.
