MANILA, Philippines – After losing its season-opening game, PSG Global Solutions in on a tear and added HCCA Health Connections to its list of new victims by defeating the red-and-orange troop, 76-67, on Saturday, May 28 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
JC Salvo and Rico Martin Fermo led PSG Global Solutions to its second-straight victory in the recreational division of the 2016 BPO Classics season.
Salvo dropped 18 points to go along with 5 rebounds and one assist, while Fermo tallied with 17 markers and 4 boards.
Meanwhile, resident muscle Lord Cromwell Abrigo stepped up big time for PSG Global Solutions by securing a double-double effort of 13 points and 22 rebounds to come with 3 assists, one steal and 8 blocks.
On the other hand, HCCA Health Connections dropped to a 1-3 win-loss slate as Albert Rizalino Modina attempted to put the team on the winning track by finishing with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists, two steals and one block.
Despite winning its second-consecutive outing, PSG Global Solutions is still behind Sitel and Shell Business Operations, which remain unbeaten in the tourney with a respective immaculate record of 3-0.
Sitel pummeled Personiv with an 85-80 victory as Sean Surbona hauled 15 markers to keep the squad on top of the standings, while Shell Business Operations’ 70-61 conquest of Ubiquity leaned on Joash Guinto’s 21-point production.
