MANILA, Philippines – Microsourcing is no longer flying solo on top of the recreational division’s team standings as Sitel caught up by routing QBE, 68-58, on Sunday, May 29 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
Sharing the lead with Microsourcing in the division’s Bracket B, Sitel claimed its third-straight victory behind the efforts of Jayvee Castillo and Allen Zaldy Gomez, who bombarded QBE’s frontline unit with 20 points each.
The two cold-blooded gunslingers had persistent contributions from teammate Isiah Gomez as the court general dished out 11 markers and managed to collect 3 boards and 4 dimes.
Although QBE yielded to Sitel, the blue-and-white brigade received necessary firepower from Sherwin Cantos and Noel Sabordo.
Cantos fired away with 25 points to go along with 3 rebounds, 4 assists and two steals, while Sabordo amassed 14 markers, 9 boards, one dime, one steal and one block.
Sitel improved to an immaculate record of 3-0 with the victory over QBE, which dropped to a win-loss slate of 2-1.
