MANILA, Philippines – After losing two-straight games weeks ago, Arriva Medical brought back the luster by hammering ARMCO with a 79-58 victory on Sunday, June 5 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Currently occupying the fifth spot in BPO Classics’ recreational plus division with a 2-2 record, Joseph Allen Paul Carlos’ star shined the brightest in Arriva Medical’s much-needed conquest of ARMCO, picking up 22 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
Carlos had a pivotal back-up from Ed Leonardo Salvador, who had 17 markers, 8 boards and 4 dimes.
On the other hand, ARMCO was led by Lorenzo Jacob, who made a game-high 29 points, 9 rebounds, two assists, 4 steals and one block as his team downgraded to a 3-2 win-loss slate but remains on top of the leader board.
In the first fixture of the day, IMS Health edged out Sitel with a 56-53 triumph by leaning on Federico Mangantulao’s 17-point production.
Meanwhile, FIS Global walked away with a 90-81 win over Ring Central as Raymond Solano manned the offense by bombarding their counterpart’s frontline unit with 29 markers.
