MANILA, Philippines – EXL sent Sitel into a downward spiral in BPO Classics’ intermediate division by capturing a 69-57 conquest on Sunday, June 5 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
EXL’s drive to improve its record to 2-2 was sparked by Raniel Patrick Belen, who rattled in 27 points to go along with 7 rebounds, 5 assists and one steal.
Belen had a helping hand from second stringer Keith Manalo, who dropped 18 markers and then collected 3 boards, 3 assists, 4 steals and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Sitel heavily relied on Aries Guevarra, who made a 19-point production as his team downgraded to a 1-2 win-loss slate in the ongoing elimination round.
In the first fixture of the day, Accenture made sure that the squad would share the lead on top of team standing with UnitedHealth Group by trouncing VXI with an 84-78 victory.
Accenture currently sports a 3-1 standing due to Larry Paa’s 23-point output and Christian Rodriguez’s double-double performance of 22 markers and 10 boards.
On the other hand, VXI dropped to a 3-2 standing and is now suffering from a two-game losing skid.
