MANILA, Philippines – After falling short against Sitel A last week, Personiv bounced back with a 69-63 victory over Eastvantage on Sunday, June 5 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Sean Surbona led Personiv to return to its winning ways with an all-around performance by hauling 25 points, 8 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks.
Determined to improve Personiv’s record to 2-1, Nicolous Quisiquisi had Suborna’s back by amassing 17 markers, 3 boards, two dimes and 4 steals.
Paulo Cheung also stepped up for Personiv with a double-double output of 15 points and 14 rebounds to go along with 7 assists and one block.
Meanwhile, Eastvantage is now suffering from a two-game losing skid and downgraded to a 1-3 record in the ongoing elimination round of BPO Classics’ recreational division.
Despite bowing down to Personiv, Eastvantage had superb numbers from Richard Salarda and Lestser Luigi Magallanes, who finished with 21 and 20 markers respectively.
