MANILA, Philippines – Shell Business Operations is now sitting on the driver’s seat of BPO Classic’s recreational division after routing Sitel, 72-60, on Saturday, June 4 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Shell Business Operations’ drive to claim solo lead was spearheaded by Joash Guinto, who fired away with 21 points to go along with 12 rebounds and 3 assists.
Guinto received a substantial support from Billy Madero, who contributed 13 markers, 4 boards and one dime.
Another player in red-and-yellow uniform who had double figures in the scoring department was Bob Tongol, finishing with 10 points.
Despite coming off the bench, Mark Henbren Odoemene led Sitel with 23-point production to come with 4 rebounds and one assist.
With the victory over SItel, SBO improved its win-loss slate to 4-0 and occupies the top spot of the team standings.
On the other hand, Sitel tasted its first setback in the tourney and downgraded to a 3-1 record.
