MANILA, Philippines – Teleperformance made sure that they were not staying second place behind Xerox as both teams are now sharing the lead on top of the standings with the former’s conquest of Accenture, 87-65, on Sunday, June 5 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Improving to a 3-1 win-loss slate, Teleperformance leaned on starting power forward Joseph Nicolai Gabriel, who finished with 22 markers, 7 boards and two dimes.
Three other players in Telepeformance uniform were in double scoring figures as Timothy Einstein Villegas delivered 13 points, Mario Maglinao pitched in 11 markers, and Edward Joseph Baluyot added 10.
Despite bowing down to Teleperformance, Accenture had good numbers from Gregorio Cortes III and Ralston Nino Shappit, who made 16 and 13 points respectively.
In the second game, Alvin Diasanta Dela Cruz’s 14-point production powered Wells Fargo against Results Companies to bag a 67-63 victory and improve its standing to 2-1.
On the other hand, Xerox slaughtered Shell Business Operations with a shutout 88-37 triumph to upgrade its record to 3-1.
Karl Ian Atrero, who came off the bench and played over 16 minutes on the floor, led Xerox with 16 markers, 4 boards and 5 dimes.
