MANILA, Philippines – Sitel maintains its position on top of BPO Classics’ recreational plus division by thumping Ring Central, 88-43, on Sunday, June 19 at the EJG Lucky Gym in Parañaque City.
Improving its record to 4-1 and remaining the No. 1 seed in the ongoing elimination round, Sitel’s campaign was spearheaded by John Kyle Alfonso, who collected 13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 4 steals.
Second-stringer Aswin Sukumar also stepped up for Sitel by contributing 12 markers, one board and two steals.
Meanwhile, Christian Angelo Aquino flirted with a double-double performance by hauling 9 points and 10 rebounds to go along with one assist, one steal and one block.
Suffering another disappointing defeat, Ring Central remains winless in the tourney and downgraded its win-loss slate to 0-5.
Despite bowing down to Sitel, Joel Nalindhom produced outstanding number for Ring Central as he amassed 15 markers, 3 boards and 6 dimes.
In the other game, FIS Global hardly walked away with a 71-68 victory over IMS Health to improve its standing to 3-2.
FIS Global leaned on Raymond Solano’s double-double output as he tallied 32 points, 17 rebounds and one steal.
IMS Health did not go down without a fight as Federico Mangantulao pitched in 14 points, Andrew Angbeng delivered 13, and Karlo Panti added 10.
