MANILA, Philippines – Cloud Sherpas secured a Final Four appearance by hampering ARMCO’s semi-final round campaign with a 67-62 victory on Saturday, June 25 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Robbie Dell Macatbag manned the offense for Cloud Sherpas as he drilled 26 markers and collected 8 boards, 3 dimes and 4 steals to barge his team into the playoffs.
Despite coming off the bench, Nuelton Cervantes also played a pivotal role in Cloud Sherpas’ triumph over ARMCO as he amassed 22 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and one steal.
On the other hand, ARMCO was led by Russell Rida, who flaunted a double-double performance as he hauled 19 points, 11 rebounds, one assist and one block.
ARMCO proved to be a tough competitor for Cloud Sherpas as two more in its ranks achieved double figures in their scoring output.
Lorenzo Jacob kept ARMCO within striking distance by contributing 16 markers, while Lester Pacete chipped in 10 points.
ARMCO exited the elimination phase of BPO Classics’ recreational plus division with a 3-3 standing.
