MANILA, Philippines – The Results Companies stashed away the chance of entering the crossover semi-final round from Xerox by claiming a 76-63 victory on Sunday, June 26 at the Makati Coliseum in Makati City.
Despite coming off the bench, Jose Rodolfo De Vera bombarded Xerox’s frontline unit with an all-around effort of 22 points, 7 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block.
De Vera received a helping hand in scoring barrage from starter Chris Catamora, who picked up 19 markers, 3 boards and 5 dimes.
Meanwhile, resident bigman Cyd Turingan flirted a rare triple-double performance of 10 points and 9 rebounds to go along with one steal and 9 blocks.
On the other hand, Martin Eleuteri Natividad led Xerox with 16 points, 5 rebounds, one assist and 4 steals.
Xerox bowed out the competitive division tourney with a 3-3 record, giving Global Payments an opening to advance to the playoff stage as the fourth seed.
