Yondu, Sykes, ARMCO and Sitel hiked up their records after a round of victories in the 2016 BPO Classics Recreational Plus Division last November 13.
It was Yondu’s turn for a dominant victory, routing Crawford, 62-38.
Yondu bounced back from a huge loss to Sitel, 66-81, the week before and led by as many as 24 points several times.
Paulo Carbonilla sizzled with 20 points for Yondu while Royce Agustin added 13. Both had five rebounds each.
Crawford clearly lacked the firepower with no one from its side scoring in double digits. The highest scorer was Bryan Marana with nine points.
Sykes, meanwhile, threw its weight around the paint to post a 77-55 thrashing of KMC Solutions.
It didn’t take long before Sykes controlled the game, pushing the lead to 15 just five minutes into the game. By the third quarter, it had extended to 28 points.
Four players wound up in double-digits for Sykes with Reymar Orijola leading the way with 14 points on top of six rebounds.
Louie Sanguyo finished with 15 points and nine rebounds for KMC Solutions, which had a 38-62 disadvantage inside.
In contrast, Sitel clipped IBEX Global, 64-55, on a late-game rally.
A 6-0 run in the final minute lifted Sitel to the victory with Eugune Velo taking charge.
Velo finished with 18 points including the go-ahead basket with .59 ticks left and two freethrows that gave Sitel a 3-point lead. He also had 11 rebounds.
Mark Abeleda and Angelo Balbuena chipped in 16 and 12 points in the win.
Down by 12 in the third, IBEX Global patiently stormed back and even led several times in the fourth until Sitel’s final punch.
Normal Galas carried IBEX Global with 19 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Meanwhile, ARMCO leaned on fourth quarter turnaround to overcome SBO, 64-55.
Down seven with a little under eight minutes left, ARMCO went on a 12-1 blast that gave them the lead for good, 53-49.
Lester Pacete and Lorenzo Jacob each scored 17 to lead ARMCO, which totally dominated in the post for a 54-28 advantage.
Despite only having six players, SBO put up a good fight against ARMCO, even leading several times through out the game.
Hernan Sison was at the forefront with 22 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
