The Results Companies, Sykes and Telus emerged victorious in the Intermediate Division while ARMCO, Sitel and Yondu scored in the Recreational Plus side in the 2016 BPO Classics last weekend.
Fluid passing helped The Results turn back Wells Fargo, 77-63.
Jose De Vera and Gian Lozada paved the way for The Results, which registered 25 assists to negate Wells Fargo’s edge 63-52 edge in rebounding.
De Vera finished with 15 points and 12 rebounds while Lozada had an all-around game with 15 points, nine rebounds and eight assists.
Sykes pounced on Concentrix’s errors en route to a 86-66 rout.

Christian Dayao led all scorers with 25 points that went with four rebounds for Sykes while Maynard Elnar added 15 points off the bench.
Telus, meanwhile, defeated Sitel 74-67 despite an error prone showing.
Even with 25 turnovers, Telus came away with the victory thanks to a total team effort led by Murjan Al-Mowallad and Macky Villanueva off the bench.
Al-Mowallad and Villanueva had 15 and 12 points, respectively, while 10 others contributed at least two points.
Out of eight active players, only five scored for Sitel.
But in the Recreational Plus division of the tournament organized by One Unite Sports, Sitel came out triumphant with an 88-46 blowout of Crawford.
Dan Briones and Charles Villanueva led the way with 15 and 12 points, in that order, but got support from almost everyone from the team.

Yondu also claimed a 76-61 rout of Shell in the same division.
Agustin paced Yondu with 22 points and seven boards while Carlo Hipolito and JL Gorriceta combined for 23 points, also off the bench.
In contrast, ARMCO fended off Sykes, 75-71, on clutch plays.
A 6-0 run in last minute and half propelled ARMCO to the victory.
Lester Pacete and Lorenzo Jacob took care of the scoring cudgels despite not starting with 27 and 23 markers, respectively.
Meanwhile, both Recreational Games ended in a thriller with Sitel nipping Telstra, 73-71, and Wint and Kidd beating PPOC.
