A new season of the BPO Classics, the biggest BPO sports lifestyle tournament in the country, will unfold this Sunday, June 18 at the Makati Coliseum.
The league ran by One Unite Sports and Events, Inc. continues to grow since its inception in 2012, as it returns with a record 36 men’s basketball teams representing 30 registered companies for the 2017 1st conference.
The basketball tournament features three divisions — Recreational, Intermediate, and Competitive. In addition, there are four new teams and 16 squad returning from last season.
Last season saw Microsourcing, Inc. top the Recreational Division; Accenture copped the Intermediate Division crown, while Teleperformance triumphed in the Competitive Division.
In men’s volleyball, four-time reigning champions The Results Companies will try to make it five titles in a row when they open their title defense against 13 other opponents. In women’s volleyball, Accenture will try to keep their crown against seven other teams.
Team registration, the opening ceremony for the 10th season, and other events shall commence on June 18.
