Accenture and Teleperformance both swept all of their assignments to lead the winners in the 3rd week action of the 2017 BPO Classics Volleyball Tournament over the weekend.
Teleperformance’s men’s squad scored an easy victory over Ring Central, 25-11, 25-23, 25-22. Alina led the winners with six points, all coming from attacks.
Their women counterparts had a masterful sweep of IBEX, 25-9, 25-10, 25-14. Villavert scored nine spikes for Teleperformance.
Accenture’s women’s team meanwhile, also swept Alere in the only other women’s division match of the weekend, 25-9, 25-19, 25-17. Endaya had nine points on seven attacks and two service aces.
Accenture’s men’s side figured in a much tougher fight against IBEX as the game went the full distance, but Accenture did enough to pull off a five-set victory.
IBEX was sluggish in the opening set, but came back taking both the second and third frames to threaten and steal the win. Fortunately, Accenture was able to bounce back and take the last two for a 25-6, 18-25, 23-25, 25-19, 15-13 win.
Delos Santos’ 21 points which included 14 spikes and five blocks led the way for Accenture. Ammay had 22 points on 19 attacks for the losing side.
In the last men’s game, Concentrix defeated Alere, 20-25, 25-11, 25-13, 25-21. Escobido had 18 points on 16 hits for Concentrix. Alvarez had eight for Alere.
